KENDRICK SAMUEL is a dancer, choreographer, movement director, and multidimensional creative whose work lives in performance, aesthetic, and direction. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Kendrick discovered his love for dance at the age of seven, quickly becoming the life of the party at family gatherings. Inspired by the Kompa music and dance of his Haitian heritage, he developed an early movement vocabulary rooted in rhythm, flow, and natural stage presence. From elementary school through college, Kendrick found ways to integrate dance into his studies, eventually pursuing formal training at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School and later at Devore Dance Center in Hollis, Queens, where he trained extensively in Hip Hop, African, Modern, and Ballet.
Kendrick is the founder of Kennys Angels Entertainment, LLC, a performance company known for its commanding presence, intentional world-building, and elevated approach to movement, highlighting and elevating female dancers through performance training, brand development, and star-forward visibility. He also serves as creative director of KRS Studios, shaping projects across disciplines, including movement, fashion, vision, and conceptual development. His work spans television, film, commercial, and live performance. Kendrick has been featured in national commercials for Powerball and 1800 Tequila, modeled for brands such as Warby Parker and Squarespace, and performed live with artists including Tyla, Busta Rhymes, Doja Cat, and Kaytranada. Film and stage work include serving as a principal dancer in The Color Purple musical film, as well as choreographing for NBA dance teams such as the Knicks City Dancers and the Brooklynettes.
